Gloria Moorman - Mississippi PW Gathering

I just returned from Jackson, Mississippi, where I was invited by Myra Hester
to take part in their Cluster C Gathering.  Humbly I presented on Justice and
Peace during the opening assembly.  Blessed by the PW there, I came away
with a confirmation that PW is vital, supportive and extremely productive in
celebrating not only each other, but more importantly in our worship and praise
of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  The Gathering received excellent
evaluations.  The weather was picture perfect, the order of the day moved
effortlessly as all 85 plus went away with smiles, information and renewed
energy ready to do God’s work through Presbyterian Women.

I just returned home today and Myra has already shared pictures from
Saturday.  Mississippi has one more Cluster Gathering to host, which is
scheduled for next weekend on the Gulf Coast.  I really wish I could have
stayed to attend.

God has blessed me with new friends in Mississippi Presbytery.   I’m sure
Myra will send additional information, but I am still so excited to have had an
opportunity to share and be a part of my sister’s Gathering. Likewise, I look
forward to being with my sisters in Transylvania Presbytery in a few weeks.
