7.     The Intergenerational Peacemaking Conference for 2008 is scheduled to be from July 14- 20, 2008 at Chapman University in Los Angeles, CA.  The theme is entitled “Sowing Mustard Seeds: God’s Economy of Grace Within Empire.

 

 

TRIPS

2.     May 10 – 25, 2008 is a Pentecost trip to Palestine, Israel, Jordan and/or Syria.  The projected cost is $3500 including roundtrip fare from NYC (final cost to be determined by December 31, 2008), with a registration deadline of February 1, 2008.   There is a limit of seventeen people, and first time visitors to the region will be given priority if all spaces are filled.  The trip leaders are Ann Barr Weems and Andrea Leonard; contact Ms. Leonard at (903) 744-6337 or at andrea.c.leonard@gmail.com
